My name is Mehwish Khan and I am a senior biology student at WSSU graduating in Dec.2017. I completed my associate degree in biotech in 2007 and worked in the field of regenerative medicine. I am very proud to be a part of the team that constructed the first human neo- organ which was successfully transplanted in ten children to improve their quality of life. My work increased my interest in the field of regulatory sciences and I decided to go back to school to earn my BS degree. At WSSU, I took classes that expanded my knowledge, critical thinking, and ethical approach, ability of analyzing / compiling scientific data and writing skills in the field of science. I am very grateful to all my professors, their support and guidance play a significant role in my success.
