ACCOMPLISHMENTS

                                      

•    Produced neo-organs for human clinical trials and large animal studies as part of a team dedicated to implementing new technology in the field of Regenerative Medicine.
•    Executed experimental protocols to optimize and refine procedures and developed analytical methods for characterizing new products.
•    Received thorough training in isolation, propagation and characterization of Amniotic Fluid Stem Cells (AFS cells) from Dr. Paolo Decoppi and team at the University of Padua, Italy, Regenerative Medicine Lab in 2011.
•    Received training in the isolation and application of Adipose Derived Stem Cells (ADSCs) from Dr. Kotaro Yoshimura and team at the Department of Plastic Surgery, University of Tokyo Japan in 2011.

 

CELL CULTURE EXPERIENCE

•    Isolation, culturing, and characterization of fetal stem cells from human amniotic fluid (AFSC)
•    Isolation, culturing, and characterization of fetal stem cells from human placenta.
•    Isolation, culturing, and characterization of adipose-derived stem cells (ADSC) (tissue and lipoaspirate). 
•    Isolation, culturing and characterization of human muscle precursor cells (MPC) from skeletal muscle. 
•    Isolation, culturing and characterization of human urothelial and smooth muscle cells from bladder tissue.
•    Trained in Autologous Islet Transplantation (AIT): Isolation of human islets from pancreatic tissue.
•    Proficient in the preparation of different types of isolation, digestion, culturing, differentiation, and cryopreservation medium specific for the varied types of fetal and adult stem cells.
•    Proficient in cell culturing data collection and analysis:
o    Growth kinetics.
o    Doubling time and growth curve.
o    Media studies, etc.
•    Cell banking using cell factories. 
•    Phenotypic characterization of cells using immunohistochemistry and FACS Flow cytometery
